Welcome to St. John's High School!

PRINCIPAL LARSON'S MESSAGE

Greetings!steve

My name is Steve Larson and I have the honor of being the Principal of St. John's High School. Although I have been on board for less than a week, I have come to learn of the many reasons why this is such a wonderful place to live, learn, work and succeed.

As your principal, I hope to become a trusted member of your family. Your students are our top priority, every day, and we will work to ensure we are doing everything we can to ensure post-high school success.

I know that since your child was in elementary school, you have heard that parental involvement is one of the keys to student achievement. This remains, even in high school, a critical component.

We will be having many discussions over the next year or so to explore ways we can become a closer community, and significantly raise our levels of achievement and graduation rates. Please come join the discussion.

There are three District 9 (St. Johns and Wadmalaw Island) listening sessions left. Please stop by the school or give us a call to find out where they are being held and at what time.

If you are a St. John's Alumni, we will be having a specific discussion for you. We will be discussing traditions, achievement, and community involvement. This is scheduled for April 27th, at 6:00 in the Auditorium.

Again, I am so pleased to be the principal of this great school. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help your child's time with us the very best it can be!
